5 Habits of Top 1% Career Women that AI Can't Replace

Hey

I’m still riding the high from our Sisterhood Social the other night.

To everyone who came on the night, thank you!

To everyone who grabbed a copy of The Bold Move to get your ticket, thank you.

And to those who picked up a copy at the event and have been reading quietly at home I hope it’s already nudging you to think:

What’s my next bold move?

The stories, the honesty, the “we’re not sugarcoating this” energy, it was inspiring.

We spoke about:

  • AI as the biggest workplace disruption since the internet

  • Being made redundant twice in 24 months and coming back stronger.

  • Careers that zigzag from Army helicopters, banking, law, tech, robots and everything in between

  • And the one thing we all agreed on…

We can’t sit this one out. Especially not as women.

We talked about jobs disappearing, tasks being automated, leaders hiring agents instead of team members, and this harsh but honest truth:

AI isn’t going to take your job.
But someone who learns to use it better and faster than you might.

The good news?

The same things that make us powerful humans, empathy, curiosity, communication, courage, and critical thinking, are exactly the things that AI can’t replace.

🎙 The Sisterhood Social Is Coming to the Podcast

So many of you came up afterwards and said, “I wish I could listen to this again.”

You can.

We recorded the whole panel every bold truth, every “choose your hard”, every “no one is coming” wake-up call and it will be live on the Career Confidence Podcast next week.

You’ll be able to revisit:

  • Why linear careers are dead and portfolio careers are the new normal

  • How to reinvent before you’re forced to

  • Why women must stop seeing AI as “cheating” and start seeing it as leverage

  • How to stay relevant, not replaceable in the age of AI

I cannot wait for you to listen to it again.

🎧 This Week’s Episode: 5 Habits of the Top 1% Career Women

Off the back of that event, this week’s YouTube video/podcast episode goes even deeper into something I see every single day as a recruiter, coach and now AI founder:

The women who rise to the top 1% aren’t just working harder.
They’re playing a different game.

In this episode, I break down the 5 habits of the top 1% career women:

  1. They treat confidence like a skill, not a trait

They don’t wait to “feel ready”.

They step into the stretch zone, take courageous action, and let confidence catch up.

  2. They invest in their skills and stay endlessly curious
AI might speed up tasks, but human skills, such as presence, communication, and emotional intelligence, are what get you promoted.
They stack learning into the cracks of their day.

  3. They build and nurture their opportunity ecosystem
Job boards are not where the best roles live anymore.
    People are.
Your network becomes your net worth and, mid-career, your reputation becomes your resume.

  4. They reinvent themselves before they’re forced to
    They don’t cling to titles.
They pivot, add skills and move towards what’s next even when they don’t have it all figured out yet.
(You’ll hear me talk about the Old Me vs Bold Me exercise and the “Bold Gap”.)

  5. They manage their energy like it’s their most valuable currency
    Time is fixed. Energy isn’t.
The top 1% don’t glorify burnout. They move, sleep, nourish, protect their focus and create from a full tank.

If you’ve been feeling:

  • a bit plateaued

  • worried about staying relevant in this AI era

  • or just ready for your next level

…this episode will give you very practical, very human, very honest steps to start shifting into that top 1% mindset.

As I said on stage:

We’re living through a moment where careers are reshaping faster than any of us were taught to prepare for.

We can’t control the pace of change.

But we can control how we respond, how we skill up, how visible we are, and how boldly we back ourselves.

Here’s to:

  • staying relevant, not replaceable

  • making our own roles before someone defines them for us

  • and choosing the bold path, even when it feels uncomfortable

Have the best week!

You are so much more capable - and needed, than you realise.

Georgie 💜
